Art blog of Artist and Illustrator April Jarocka. April's beautiful coastal paintings have captured the imagination of many of her viewers for their photorealism. Painted in oil, acrylic and sometimes both, her beachscapes in particular reflect her love for the detail in the small stones that scatter the irish coastline, where she gathers much of her inspiration for her work. This art blog was set up to sideline her website where more work can be found, and provide a place where she could describe her work in more detail and network with other artists.

Each SuzieB painting contains a self-portrait secret of the artist that will only be revealed to the buyer through a Certificate of Authenticity. The secret is sealed in a tube and is attached to the painting. The secret has a philosophical or a spiritual flavour and is intended to be inspirational.
